Nikki Engelman

Nikki Engelman is a Certified Paralegal at Nilson Brand Law’s Mayville Office where she assists with estate planning, probates, and a variety of political subdivisions. Nikki primarily works with attorney Cassie Tostenson to ensure that everything from estate planning documents to probate filings are properly managed.

Nikki has over twenty years of experience working in a variety of areas of law. Nikki has previous experience in criminal defense, insurance defense, and bankruptcy. Nikki’s extensive knowledge makes her a truly important member of the Nilson Brand Law team, and attorneys and paralegals alike know they can turn to Nikki for help whenever they need. Nikki is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants and a member of the Red River Valley Paralegal Association.

Nikki received her bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Moorhead State University and subsequently attained her certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants. CP® and CLA ® are registered certification marks of the National Association of Legal Assistants. Their use is permitted only by those who have met and maintained rigorous national certification standards.

Nikki was raised in Mayville, North Dakota and found her way back to her roots when she joined Nilson Brand Law. Nikki resides in Buxton, North Dakota with her pets and the occasional foster pet. Outside of work, Nikki volunteers with various animal rescues and enjoys spending time on the water with friends and family. She can often be found outside enjoying the sun, playing in her garden, or reading.
